  • Since 1998, I have been providing legal counseling and representation in a wide variety of legal matters.
  • My primary focus is business and corporate law with a particular love for, and emphasis on, contracts and international business transactions and related legal issues, particularly within and between the United States and the European Union. I assist my clients to negotiate agreements, including cross-border transactions, sales contracts, distribution/agency agreements, terms and conditions of sale advise on product documentation, warranties, license agreements, contract compliance issues and many other business and corporate matters.
  • I am also an experienced civil litigation attorney having litigated matters ranging from professional malpractice to intellectual property/trademark infringement cases, insurance defense, torts/personal injury, family law and real estate disputes.
  • Currently serve as General Counsel to world-renowned Swedish manufacturer of high-tech robotic nozzles, Unifire AB (See below).

  • Conduct a variety of business services to small companies, and have served businesses in the U.S., Europe, and Australia
  • Provide guidance and general business strategy and consulting, business development, direct international sales, producing marketing and advertising materials, copywriting news and articles for trade magazines, representation at industry trade shows, etc.

  • Unifire AB of Sweden is an innovative, high-tech robotic nozzle manufacturer revolutionizing the fire fighting industry with fully autonomous robotic fire suppression systems 
  • Advise and manage all of Unifire’s legal matters, including contract drafting and negotiations and contract management, product compliance issues, product documentation, intellectual property matters, mergers & acquisitions, collections, and others
  • Provide strategic business planning and consulting services directly to the owner/Managing Director, guide company policies, write company business plans and generally guide business focus, target markets, and business development
  • Conduct international sales of complex technical solutions and products
  • Produce the majority of Unifire’s marketing materials, including web sites, brochures, catalogs, industry trade magazine publications, and general public relations work, representation at industry trade shows, radio and television interviews, etc.
  • Directly involved in the drafting newly proposed legislation for United Nation’s International Maritime Organization (IMO) under the EU-funded LASH FIRE project

European Account Executive, April 2004 to August 2005

  • Spearheaded the company’s first sales to Russia and Eastern Europe 
  • Conducted sales of pre-owned computer networking equipment throughout Eastern Europe for the world’s largest reseller of pre-owned Cisco
  • Conducted trade show and business meetings in Russia in the Russian language on multiple occasions
  • Achieved annual sales of approximately $1,000,000 USD despite substantial challenges of logistics / conducting international trade with Russia
